Serviceships are kind of like scholarships. But instead of providing funds to help with paying for education, they give students the money they need to do a volunteer service project.
The purpose is to connect college and graduate classes to communities. Instead of just reading textbook theories, students are able to use their education and give back to others. Through serviceships, students get practical hands-on experience and the chance to explore career interests while solving a real problem that affects our world.
We understand that it often costs money to start innovative service projects. Most students don't have much excess cash to spare, so that's where Students Serve comes in. We provide serviceships to help students make great things happen in their communities.
